May 19 2010 - To all who came to the parks offical opening weekend and enjoyed the GREAT WEATHER thank you for your support. The event that was hosted by Reload Ridge Riders was enjoyed my many of the park guests. Volunteer EMS was available if needed and you are truly appreciated.

Apr 2 2010 - It snowing hard currently at OHV Park approx 6" and still accumulating. Drifts up to 12". USFS 21 NOT PLOWED, recommend do not travel unless absolutely necessary at this point in time.

Feb 23 2010 - Thank you to everyone who is calling us to see if the park is yet open. The park is still currently seasonally closed. The staff is busy making sure that all the trails are clear and safe. Please be patient with us as we complete this process. Should you have any questions or comments you are ALWAYS more than welcome to contact us.
We look forward to seeing everyone this season!

Jan 31 2010 - Last fall during hunting season we were in need of an internet connection. We took the chance that maybe the OHV park might be able to point us in the direction of some assistance that would not be too far away. What we discovered was very gracious assistance. Your park employee let us use the local computer to make a very important request via the internet. We hunt every year less that 10 miles from the park and appreciate the generosity that was given to us. I also ride a Dirt bike and a Quad. I plan to visit your park in the future to try out the trails. It is wonderful to see the establishment of another riding area. Thanks for your service to the area.

Thank you for posting a comment on the OHV park web site. I have talked with the Public Works Director, below is his reply, should you have any questions or comments PLEASE feel free to contact us.
Public Works Director Response:
We need time to check and repair trails and equip every year before reopening for the new season. Three inches of snow in places and 12 in places as well! People get in trouble in deeper snow and leave trails causing damage. Culverts and crossings wash out, wet areas get very muddy and to soft to ride. When we do open any trails it will only be designated trails and routes. This means we will have to check them all out first. We do manage for 12 months a year but management does not mean leave trails open to severe damage. When we open it will be when trails and riders will both have a good season. In short we will open some riding early if possible but not without proper preparations.
